Tenants Requesting Assistance

Tenant Applications

Email us at relief@uhcsc.org and you will receive an automatic response. Please include TENANT APPLICATION REQUEST in the email subject line.

In the email, provide your first and last name, residential address and COVID-19 hardship and any details you'd like us to review. We will send you the application.

Your application will be reviewed in 7-10 BUSINESS DAYS.

PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US for a status update unless you provided your application at least 10 days before. Be sure to check your spam folder, as an email update may be there.

Due to the volume of requests, only those who are first-time applicants for rental and utilities assistance through the Emergency Rental Assistance Program may apply.

​

If you have already received assistance and continue to experience hardship, please click the link for a list of other available resources.

Priority Applicants

Eligible households will be prioritized in the following order based on the characteristics stated below:

  1. Households with income at or below 50% of the area median.

  2. Households with an individual who has been unemployed for the 90 days prior to the application for assistance.

  3. Households in active eviction status.

Landlords Requesting Assistance

Send an email to relief@uhcsc.org to request a link to the application. In the subject line of the email please include the words (Landlord Application Request). In the email, provide your first and last name, residential address and any details you'd like us to review before sending you the application link.

This application is for Greenville County residents ONLY!

For all other counties, please contact 211 for further assistance.
